My name is AJ, and I am a “Market Maven“.
My friends come to me to find out what products they should buy- because I probably have tried them all. I am a bubbly, fun and extroverted person who loves to meet new people- people who may have never heard of your product.
I want to share that product with them.
I subscribe to a lot of magazines, and am usually the first person at the store looking for an item that is not yet stocked! While I am not yet a mom, I have 2 nephews and a niece that keep me on my toes when it comes to kids products– and my 26lb cat Mr More is a finicky cat product reviewer!
I believe in open, honest and thoughtful reviews of products that I love, and that I might not particularly like.
I believe in transparency.
I believe in the power of word of mouth.

I am currently looking for sponsorship for the 2010 Inaugural FitBloggin’ Conference in Baltimore March 20-22.
I am looking for what I would consider “fair” sponsorship:
- Airfare from Chicago to Baltimore (currently around $200.00)
- Hotel accommodations (around $120.00 per night for 2 nights)
- Conference costs (only $75.00!)
I feel it is fair for me to pay for my “fun” in Baltimore, including an extra night in the hotel- I will pay for my own meals and incidentals.
I am willing to split any costs between sponsors if needed.
I am willing to:
- Wear your product (if it is clothing) or wear clothing bearing your product
- Free “advertisement” on ajlovestolose.com
- Respectfully hand out flyers/postcards/business cards bearing your product information during the conference
- Conduct giveaways on ajlovestolose, Twitter, at the conference or a combination of all three
- Other ideas, as agreed upon
